The Periodic Table Of Typefaces.

Cam Wilde of Squidspot created a Periodic Table for typeface addicts.

The ‘Periodic Table of Typefaces’ is designed in style of Period Table of Elements posters hanging up in schools and printed in science books all over the world.

Featuring 100 of the most popular, influential and notorious typefaces of today. The table groups the typefaces into families and classes of: sans-serif, serif, script, blackletter, glyphic, display, grotesque, realist, didones, garalde, geometric, humanist, slab-serif and mixed.

Each cell also states the symbol of the typeface, the designer, the year it was designed, and the rank of the typeface—based on the rankings of various sites.

Twitter is the bird, the bird is Twitter

Just like other brands (Nike, AT&T, Starbucks…) Twitter is removing its name from its logo. From now on the brand will be solely identified by the bird.

Time to update all your graphics, and make sure they follow Twitter’s guidelines!

Coda 2 & Diet Coda

Code editing is about to get easier and prettier! Panic will be releasing a new version of their web code editing app Coda, and a brand new code editor for iPad. I have been using Coda for a while now, and I cannot wait for these new releases.

Both apps will be available May 24, 2012 in the App Store, and they will be 50% off for the first 24 hours. Happy coding!
